Its 15″ LCD monitor tilts up to 45-degrees, as well, making it easier to view in a variety of situations.

Does the SonoScape S9 portable ultrasound machine have good image quality?

Yes.

Is the SonoScape S9 touchscreen hard to use or difficult during a scan?

No this one really works. In fact some of the more commonly used functions, such as gain, Doppler, Set, Update, Depth, and Freeze keys are all separate hard keys ie. they're not part of the touchscreen. The remainder is on the touchscreen interface.

What is MicroScan Noise and Artifact Reduction?

This is also known as speckle reduction imaging. The SonoScape S9 portable ultrasound machine uses a special software algorithm to identify body tissue and eliminate artifact. The result provides a clearer image with reduced artifact.

Does the SonoScape S9 have triplex imaging?

Yes.

Can I connect the SonoScape S9 to external video sources?

Yes, the SonoScape S9 ultrasound machine has VGA and S-Video output.

Does the SonoScape S9 Portable Ultrasound have USB connections?

Yes, you can export images via USB to a memory device.

Can I connect the SonoScape S9 to my network to store my images or send them to a radiologist for review?

Yes, the SonoScape S9 has a DICOM option.

What is Multi-Parameter Compound Imaging?

Multi-Parameter Compound Imaging on the SonoScape S9 is the same type of technology as CrossXBeam (GE) or SonoCT (Philips). It allows the ultrasound transducer to see from multiple lines of site at different angles, as opposed to the standard line-of-site that's perpendicular to the transducer lens.
